It is an immense privilege to act as God’s hands and feet during our outreaches, which fills the hearts of the team, but also those of the broader community with deep compassion. Companies and schools are becoming more and more involved in the blessed activities attached to these remarkable outreaches that originally started quite simply, on a small scale. Today this has escalated to make a vast difference to the local communities we work with.
The first two outreaches took us to Worcester in 2000-2001, and were followed by those to Fraserburg (2002-2003); Brandvlei (2004-2005); Loeriesfontein (2006-2007); Tulbagh (2008-2009); Fraserburg (2010-2011); Sutherland (2012-2013), Loeriesfontein (2014-2015), Fraserburg (2016-2017), Sutherland (2019) and Fraseburg again in 2023 after Covid. In 2024 we are planning to reach out to Loeriesfontein from 21 to 27 September. So far we had the opportunity to have more than 1000 people involved in helping others. That changes not just the people you serve but also the mindset of the individual attending these outreaches.
